Seer, who is now 15 went to a youth conference with our church ward. It was 4 days of hanging out with her peers and their leaders. She came back with battle scars and I couldn’t have been more proud. Everyone was saying how wonderful she did and wasn’t afraid of anything. She went tubing, repelling, and jumping off cliffs. I felt tears come to my eyes because that was all Josh. He gave her that adventurous and happy spirit. But I was also so grateful that these youth leaders provided and encouraged her to do these activities.

The leaders of our ward are amazing. They act almost like second parents. Seer and Saleen are very shy but they have all been so patient and inclusive. There are things I just can’t or won’t do. I felt gratitude that there are still opportunities for my girls to experience things I couldn’t provide without Josh. They will still have role models even after their dad is gone. The leaders offer extra ears and love to them. With our family deficit, it means so much that others are willing to step in.
Thank you Eagle Crest 4th Ward. You guys are my heroes!

You are so loved! Your girls are so kind and generous. I'm glad Seer came to Youth Conference. It meant a lot to Jenna, and that made it easier for me too. Thank you!
